Love this color also. I read somewhere that this is Tamiya's XF-76, but as i can see, you used that color for cockpit interior and it is much more greener than on this picture... Will you use that color for the rest of the plane?
Hi! There is a chance that the pictures are lying a bit with regards to the colour; the cockpit is painted with XF-71, and the fuselage will be painted with the AS-29 spray can paint, which corresponds to the XF-76. I have always thought that the early 21's were more whitish, but I want to try the AS spray and check out how it works. After some use, not to planes would have looked exactly alike anyway and as long as you don't go darker I think its ok. It's the same with the blue-green metallic paint used on parts of the interior; there seems to have been some variation there as well. I have never been to nervous about getting the colours exactly right as long as it looks good - whithin reason, of course! The scale is 1:32 and the plane comes equipped so that you can retract the legs and place it on a nice stand which will keep it airborne!
